Destined By Grace Medical Training Institute offers a fast-paced CNA exam preparation program designed to help students successfully challenge the Florida Certified Nursing Assistant State Exam.
This training focuses on essential patient care knowledge, required CNA skills performance, and structured test preparation strategies.
These courses are best suited for students who are fast learners, self-motivated, disciplined, and prepared to learn in an accelerated training environment.
Choose the Learning Option That Fits You
We offer three flexible training pathways to support different learning styles and schedules.
⭐ In-Person CNA Prep Course (Most Structured Option)
This option is ideal for students who prefer live instruction, structured classroom learning, and maximum hands-on guidance.
Training includes:
• Live lecture with PowerPoint instruction
• CNA skills demonstrations
• Guided hands-on skills practice
• CNA skills videos
• Two written mock exams
• State exam preparation strategies
BONUS INCLUDED
Students receive a 4-hour one-on-one skills review session with the instructor within one week of their scheduled state exam date.
Printed review materials and structured learning support are provided.
⭐ Hybrid CNA Prep Course (Online Lecture + In-Person Skills)
This option is designed for students who want flexibility while still receiving instructor support for skills mastery.
Students complete the lecture and written curriculum online through self-paced training modules.
Students then attend a 2-day in-person hybrid skills session focused on:
• Hands-on CNA skills performance
• Skills coaching and correction
• Confidence building
• Skills check-off preparation
Important:
The in-person portion of the hybrid course focuses on skills practice only and does NOT include full classroom lectures. Lecture content is completed online.
Hybrid students receive 90 days of access to the online curriculum and may repeat:
• Training modules
• Practice quizzes
• Skills review videos
as many times as needed during the access period.
⭐ Online CNA Prep Course (Fully Self-Paced)
Ideal for students who are independent learners and need maximum scheduling flexibility.
Students receive 90 days of continuous access to:
• CNA training modules
• Practice quizzes
• Skills review content
• Exam preparation materials
Students may repeat modules and quizzes unlimited times during the access period.
State Exam & Background Screening Fees
Students must apply to challenge the Florida CNA State Exam through Prometric.
• CNA State Exam Fee: approximately $155 (paid directly to Prometric)
• Level 2 Background Screening Fee: approximately $90–$100 depending on provider
These fees are not included in course tuition.
Students must successfully complete Level 2 background screening before being approved to test.
Students With Criminal Backgrounds or Prior Charges
Students who have been arrested, charged, or convicted may still be eligible to become a CNA, but additional documentation and approval may be required.
Students may need to:
• Obtain certified court disposition records
• Provide final case outcomes
• Submit written explanations if requested
• Complete Level 2 background screening
• Respond to requests from regulatory agencies
Enrollment in this preparation course does not guarantee eligibility to take the state exam or obtain certification.
Class Expectations
Due to the fast-paced nature of this training:
• Students should bring lunch, snacks, and drinks
• Closed-toe shoes and socks are required (scrubs preferred)
• Students must arrive prepared and ready to focus
Video recording or photography may occur for educational or promotional purposes.

• Telephone number
This information is required to ensure exam registration and certification processing are completed accurately.
Attendance & Late Arrival Policy
Students must arrive on time.
Students arriving more than 15 minutes late may be denied entry and required to reschedule.
Missed instruction cannot always be repeated.
Early Departure Policy
Students who choose to leave class early may forfeit the opportunity to receive all required instruction and training.
The instructor is not responsible for reteaching missed material or providing additional instructional time outside of scheduled sessions.
Refund & Rescheduling Policy
All course payments are non-refundable.
Students may reschedule one time with advance notice.
Failure to notify the instructor prior to class or no-call/no-show will result in forfeiture of all fees paid.
Supportive Learning Environment
Class sizes are limited to allow individualized attention.
Lecture is conducted in English. Subtitles in Creole or Spanish may be available upon request.
CNA prep Course
Price range: $180.00 through $499.00
This is a CNA Prep course that prepares students to challenge the Certified Nursing Exam for Florida by offering 24 hours of dedicated instructional time over a 3-day period for daytime classes, 2 days for weekend classes (available upon request) and over a 6-day period for night classes (available upon request).
Instructional time consists of live lecture with PowerPoint presentation, in class skills videos, 2 written mock exams, hands on skills practice, and a bonus one-on-one skills practice session with the instructor within 1 week of scheduled test date. Each student receives a folder with learning materials that correspond with the course.
**Please be informed that video recordings and photography may take place during the session. By participating, you consent to your image and voice being recorded. These recordings may be used for educational purposes or promotional materials. If you have any concerns or prefer not to be recorded, please let the facilitator know. Thank you for your understanding.
Class size is limited to 4 students per instructor to allow the opportunity for personalized learning. We offer a learner friendly and team-oriented environment.
Class is offered in English but lecture does include subtitles in Creole or Spanish upon request (Being able to read and understand English is recommended as Written portion of Florida Exam is only offered in Spanish or English, skills exam is only offered in English).
**You must be able to pass a Level 2 background screening prior to being approved by the State of Florida to take the Exam. (There is a separate fee for the background screening and the CNA exam, not included in the price of this course)
**Dress code: Closed toe shoes and socks are required. Scrubs are preferred but not required.
**Mealtime: Bring your lunch, snacks, and drinks as we may not have time to take an actual break due to fast pace of course. Vending machine containing snacks is onsite.
We understand that things may happen, so we offer the opportunity to reschedule course date once with at least a 24 hours’ notice prior to start of class. Failure to notify instructor of inability to attend class or no-call no-show prior to or during course period results in forfeiture of any remaining instructional time and any monies paid toward course.
