Destined By Grace Medical Training Institute offers CPR and First Aid certification courses following the guidelines of the American Heart Association.
All courses include hands-on instruction and official electronic certification valid for 2 years.
This course is designed for healthcare professionals and students who need Basic Life Support certification for employment or clinical requirements.
Course Length: Approximately 4.5 hours

Course Materials Requirement:
Students must have access to the American Heart Association BLS Provider eBook before, during, and after class.
Certification:
Upon successful completion, students will receive an official American Heart Association electronic certification (eCard) valid for 2 years.
Students may retrieve their certification by texting eCard to 51736 and following the instructions provided.
Designed for individuals with little or no medical training who need CPR certification for employment, workplace safety, or personal preparedness.

Certification is issued electronically through the American Heart Association.
Recommended for childcare providers, teachers, camp staff, babysitters, and individuals responsible for the care of children.

Certification is valid for 2 years and issued electronically.
Students who complete the American Heart Association online HeartCode course must attend an in-person skills session to receive certification.

Destined By Grace Medical Training Institute offers a fast-paced CNA exam preparation program designed to help students successfully challenge the Florida Certified Nursing Assistant State Exam.
This training focuses on essential patient care knowledge, required CNA skills performance, and structured test preparation strategies.
These courses are best suited for students who are fast learners, self-motivated, disciplined, and prepared to learn in an accelerated training environment.
We offer three flexible training pathways to support different learning styles and schedules.
This option is ideal for students who prefer live instruction, structured classroom learning, and maximum hands-on guidance.
Training includes:
• Live lecture with PowerPoint instruction
• CNA skills demonstrations
• Guided hands-on skills practice
• CNA skills videos
• Two written mock exams
• State exam preparation strategies
Students receive a 4-hour one-on-one skills review session with the instructor within one week of their scheduled state exam date.
Printed review materials and structured learning support are provided.
This option is designed for students who want flexibility while still receiving instructor support for skills mastery.
Students complete the lecture and written curriculum online through self-paced training modules.
Students then attend a 2-day in-person hybrid skills session focused on:
• Hands-on CNA skills performance
• Skills coaching and correction
• Confidence building
• Skills check-off preparation
Important:
The in-person portion of the hybrid course focuses on skills practice only and does NOT include full classroom lectures. Lecture content is completed online.
Hybrid students receive 90 days of access to the online curriculum and may repeat:
• Training modules
• Practice quizzes
• Skills review videos
as many times as needed during the access period.
Ideal for students who are independent learners and need maximum scheduling flexibility.
Students receive 90 days of continuous access to:
• CNA training modules
• Practice quizzes
• Skills review content
• Exam preparation materials
Students may repeat modules and quizzes unlimited times during the access period.
Students must apply to challenge the Florida CNA State Exam through Prometric.
• CNA State Exam Fee: approximately $155 (paid directly to Prometric)
• Level 2 Background Screening Fee: approximately $90–$100 depending on provider
These fees are not included in course tuition.
Students must successfully complete Level 2 background screening before being approved to test.
Students who have been arrested, charged, or convicted may still be eligible to become a CNA, but additional documentation and approval may be required.
Students may need to:
• Obtain certified court disposition records
• Provide final case outcomes
• Submit written explanations if requested
• Complete Level 2 background screening
• Respond to requests from regulatory agencies
Enrollment in this preparation course does not guarantee eligibility to take the state exam or obtain certification.
Due to the fast-paced nature of this training:
• Students should bring lunch, snacks, and drinks
• Closed-toe shoes and socks are required (scrubs preferred)
• Students must arrive prepared and ready to focus
Video recording or photography may occur for educational or promotional purposes.
Students must provide accurate registration information including:
• Full legal name
• Current address
• Personal email address
• Telephone number
This information is required to ensure exam registration and certification processing are completed accurately.
Students must arrive on time.
Students arriving more than 15 minutes late may be denied entry and required to reschedule.
Missed instruction cannot always be repeated.
Students who choose to leave class early may forfeit the opportunity to receive all required instruction and training.
The instructor is not responsible for reteaching missed material or providing additional instructional time outside of scheduled sessions.
All course payments are non-refundable.
Students may reschedule one time with advance notice.
Failure to notify the instructor prior to class or no-call/no-show will result in forfeiture of all fees paid.
Class sizes are limited to allow individualized attention.
Lecture is conducted in English. Subtitles in Creole or Spanish may be available upon request.
