This is a 60-hour online self-study course that will allow you to work in the home care setting, assisting patients with daily care. The course includes 25 modules. Each module includes a PowerPoint presentation and quiz. The program features:
- 32 skills instructional videos
- An in-person skills competency check
- A final exam requiring a minimal passing score of 70% to receive certification.
Students will have 2 weeks to complete self-study portion of the course. After completing the self-study portion of the modules, students must schedule and attend the in-person skills competency check. Once the skills check is successfully completed, students must take the final exam. Upon successful completion of all requirements, students will receive a Home Health Aide Certificate. This certificate does not expire.
REQUIREMENTS FOR REGISTRATION:
MUST BE 18 years of age or older.
Must fill out registration form and return electronically or in person.
Must submit valid Photo ID.
