Our CNA prep course prepares students to pass the Florida’s Board of Nursing Assistant State Exam by challenging the nursing assistant competency exam in Florida. This course is fast paced and will provide students with the opportunity to learn and review essential material, practice required patient care skills, ad complete a written practice exam. Once a student has completed this course, they will be able to apply for and challenge the exam to become a Certified Nursing Assistant.- Tuition Fee (In Classroom):

- Course fee includes: Live Lecture/Hands-On Skills Practice/Power Point Presentation/2 Mock Exams/Videos/Study Guide/Review/Plus 4 hour one on one skills study session within 1 week of test date.
- Assistance with Test Registration upon request**Fee does not include Level 2 background check fee (approximately $80) or State exam enrollment fee ($155) **PLEASE BRING CREDIT OR BANK CARD AS METHOD OF PAYMENT TO REGISTER TO TEST ON LAST DAY OF CLASS, IF YOU WOULD LIKE ASSISTANCE.
- **Study session conducted between hours of 9 am-5pm on agreed upon day for 4 hours. Additional same day hours available for additional fee. For an additional fee, additional hours can be added to skills study session in 1 hour increments up to 4 extra hours.
- DRESS CODE: Casual attire or scrubs, socks, and closed toe shoes.
- WHAT TO EXPECT: Due to course being fast paced, you will not be able to leave for lunch. Please bring your lunch/drinks/snacks etc. to class. I will provide all learning materials.

Florida Med Tech Certification

This course is offered the first Tuesday of every month and prepares you to assist patients with taking their medications by various routes and provides a total of 6 hours of instructional and hands-on training regarding assistance with self-administration of medications in an Assisted Living Facility (ALF) setting. This course is taught by a Registered Nurse and our curriculum focuses on all aspects of Florida laws for assistance with self-administration of medications, medication practices, and medication safety. Course also includes videos and written exam. Same Day Certification.
Already certified? We also offer a 2-hour Med Tech Recertification course. You must bring current, active certification. If your certification has expired, you are required to take the full 6-hour initial course again.
There are no prerequisites for this course. You must be at least 18 years old.
